Mewberty Star is the demented version of Star Butterfly after she's hit with Mewni's equivalent to Puberty, which is Mewberty.

Star's "Bad End Friend" AU version comes from Episode 6, Season 1 of “Star vs. the Forces of Evil”, titled “Mewberty”.

Backstory[]

In this episode, Star Butterfly transforms into her Mewberty form, which happens to look like a large purple butterfly. This “Mewberty” is caused by being around boys at the time a human would experience puberty.

“Mewberty” is when Purple Hearts grow on your skin in the presence of the opposite sex. These grow more when there is prolonged exposure. Eventually, they form a cocoon around the person. When they emerge out of the cocoon, they are in their Mewberty form. This will normally wear off by 3:57 pm, or it won’t at all, which is what happens to this AU character.

Personality[]

From what we see in the episode, Mewberty Star exhibits a childish and irrational personality, acting more like an animal than anything else. She can also be described as a sort of "Yandere", as she is always after boys, as she puts it “suddenly looking at boys as if they were made of bacon, like you've never eaten it in your life, and all you want to eat is bacon."

Appearance[]

Mewberty Star’s appearance is very frightening when up close. She has dark purple skin, six arms, large butterfly wings, and huge, light purple, heart-shaped eyes. Her hairstyle and hair color are also changed (Star Butterfly's original hair was long and yellow). In the form, her voice becomes monotonal.

Abilities[]

Mewberty has extra limbs (arms) and is able to form webs (which replace her magic and manifest as purple hearts) to trap boys in. She also has the ability to fly.

The concept of the Mewberty version of Star is from the show, but the Bad End Friends version is permanent, as said by Glossaryck.
Star has the ability to make webs from her fingertips, which are made from her magic, and appear as purple hearts.
The most likely reason why she became a Bad End Friend is that she was attracted to the main trio. Thus, her animal instincts kicked in, causing her to follow them.
