Fleetway Sonic is a main antagonist of the "Sonic the Comic" made by Sega. This version of Sonic is the pure chaos energy of Super Sonic and what would have happened if he won.
Fleetway Sonic[]
Fleetway is a minor antagonist of Sonic the Comic but in this version, instead of losing his memory and turning good after being trapped in the Special Zone, he kept his personality, and used his power to live out his wants.
Backstory[]
It all began when Sonic the Hedgehog was exposed to too much unstable chaos energy and turned into Super Sonic giving him enhanced power however in that Super form it warped his mind making him more ruthless and brutal to the point of evil creating chaos when he transforms luckily for Sonic his friends manage to take the chaos energy and transfer it to the Special Zone but by doing that the gave life to a new creature, the very being of Super Sonic and as he escapes the Zone he destroys the place where he was put in the Zone and shields Sonic to kill him so that he won't fuse back with him, the branch comes from the outcome instead of being trapped in the Black Asteroid he completes his goal and murders Sonic being able to cause as much havoc as he wants, but becoming bored he decides to explore, running into a powerful being.
Abilities[]
Fleetway seems to be similar to Super Sonic with enhanced strength and speed however does have some special powers:
- Enhanced physical ability: Fleetway possesses even greater speed, physical strength, and stamina than Sonic normally does, examples being that he was able to carve a giant statue of himself out of lava as a volcano erupted and defeat opponents that Sonic struggled in vain against with ease.
- Flight: He is shown to be able to fly in midair while retaining incredible speed to the point of leaving flames in his wake.
- Laser-vision: He is able to fire golden Laser-beams out of his eyes.
- Invulnerability: Fleetway is able to take powerful attacks to the point of invincibility.
- Explosion inducement: Fleetway charged an explosions with his body one such explosion caused an electromagnetic pulse powerful enough to knock out electricity all over Mobius.
- Chaos Energy: He is able to use the power of Chaos energy to create projectiles, energy shields, and a green power sapping mist.
Personality[]
Fleetway Sonic is highly eccentric, chaotic, and murderous, relishing in the destruction he causes and not showing a single shred of remorse or guilt and instead smiling at the chaos he causes. However, he does show an expressed anger and sort of fear towards Sonic as he does not want to fuse with Sonic and be suppressed again and, as a result, tries to murder him by himself for his own twisted amusement.

Fleetway thinking he killed the Freedom Fighters.
Appearance[]
Fleetway is a hedgehog with golden fur due to his immense power, he also has crazed red spiral eyes, he has white and red "power" shoes with white gloves, he has tan arms, a tan belly, and tan eye lids his hair spikes rise because of the Chaos Energy and his teeth appear sharper and more jagged.
Behind the Scenes[]
Fleetway originates from Sonic the Comic issue #7 and is popularly regarded as the true evil Sonic and is treated as so. The artwork used cannot be credited as whoever made it is gone however it can be credited from DeviantArt although it cannot be found. Fleetway appears in comic issues 7-116 although the comics are difficult to find.
Trivia[]
- This version of Super Sonic seems to have inspired the evil Super Sonic from Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog, who was temporarily incarnated from that continuity's Sonic with the red Chaos Emeralds from Thoraxia. This evil Super Sonic has a similar personality and powers to that of Super Sonic in Sonic the Comic.
- In Super Sonic's very first appearance, his quills remained pointing downwards after his transformation. In later appearances, his quills were depicted pointing upwards to be consistent with his games' appearances.
