Brainwashed Max[]
Brainwashed Max is Max from Camp Camp.
He is a follower of Daniel’s cult after getting brainwashed by the purification sauna.
Background[]
In Season 2 episode 1 ‘Cult Camp’ David and Gwen hired someone named Daniel who has a familiar resemblance to David, Max immediately noticed that he was a psychotic cultist who was attempting to convince and brainwash all of the campers so he could sacrifice them to an ancient cosmic being known as Xemüg.
Max tried to tell David about Daniel, but David was dumb enough to not see what’s actually happening. With his friends brainwashed, he only had one option: to tell David that he was worried that Daniel might overtake his job. This made David have second thoughts, and Max sacrificed himself to be brainwashed so David could be fully convinced.
In the original canon, David and Daniel face off with a camp song battle, and Daniel ends up drinking the poisonous kool-aid. But in this timeline, something went wrong, and David was defeated, while the campers’ fate is unknown (either they all died from drinking the punch or are still alive and following Daniel’s cult) Daniel had kept Max to teach him about his cult and how to sacrifice people.
Alternatively, Daniel was locked up in an asylum, however, Max was secretly not reverted back into his usual self and was still brainwashed, causing him to team up with another cult leader, Jen, to kill everyone at Camp Campbell.
It's unknown how or why Max wanted to join The Bad End Friends, as he seems content in his murder spree with Daniel/Jen. However, it may be that he and Daniel/Jen wanted to spread the word of Xemüg across the multiverse. Whatever the true reason may be, we may never know...
Appearance[]
Brainwashed Max wears a white hoodie with a white T-shirt underneath it. The hoodie is a light gray color, while the hood, wrists, and pockets are colored plain white. The T-shirt is a white color with a slight yellow tint to it. The pants are a darker shade of grey in contrast to the hoodie. The shoe is a reddish-brown color with a white intersection in the middle.
Max is a relatively short kid with a thin build, fluffy black hair, bluish-green eyes with brown dilated pupils, and tan skin. He often has bags under his eyes. However, he's often smiling.
